Florbac WG is a stomach poisoning biological insecticide. It forms parasporal, crystalline proteinaceous structures during sporulation. When the pesticide sprayed on the plant is swallowed by the larva, these crystal structures break down the cells in the larva's stomach, causing the digestion to stop. The larvae of the pest, which cannot be fed, die within 2-3 days.
